Michigan State University is among the world’s premier research institutions, and the funds it receives through ARRA will have a positive impact on the local community, Michigan and the nation as they spur innovation, create jobs and further research addressing some of society’s most pressing challenges.
MSU has already begun receiving ARRA grants and has submitted nearly 200 grant proposals that will be considered over the coming months. The stimulus funding, which must be used within two years, will provide increases in federal support across many academic disciplines.
This Web page will include the latest news on stimulus funding awarded to MSU researchers, as well as a roundup of all stimulus projects, including the focus of the research and how the money is being used.
